1. Who we are
Ampla Technologies LLC (“Ampla”, “we”, “us”) operates amplasearch.com and the Ampla browser extension. Questions about this policy: info@amplasearch.com.
2. Information we collect
a. Account information. Name, email address, and login credentials when you create an account.
b. Waitlist and invite information. Your email address when you join the waitlist, and the invite code or link you use to sign up.
c. Network data you choose to sync. When you connect the Ampla extension, we collect the professional connections and profile data you choose to sync, such as names, roles, companies, and connection relationships.
d. Public professional data. We supplement synced data with publicly available professional information to improve match quality.
e. Usage data. Searches you run, features you use, and technical data such as browser type and device information.
f. Payment information. If paid plans apply to you, payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your card details.
3. Information about people in your network
Ampla maps professional relationships. Data you sync may include information about people who are not Ampla users. We use this information only to provide the service to you and the communities you join. We do not use it to contact those people, and we do not sell it.
4. How we use information
To provide the service: finding and ranking warm-introduction paths, drafting introductions, and operating your communities. To maintain and improve the service. To communicate with you about your account. To keep the service secure.
5. How information is shared
Within your communities. Ampla is built around groups. When you join a group, other members of that group can discover that an introduction path exists through your network. This visibility is the core function of the product.
Service providers. We use third-party providers for hosting, data processing, and payments. They process data on our behalf and under contract.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Ampla or others.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and synced network data at any time by emailing info@amplasearch.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email info@amplasearch.com.
9. Age requirement
Ampla is a professional tool intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect.
