Terms of Service
Effective date: April 26, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using amplasearch.com or the Ampla extension (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Invite-only preview
The Service is in private preview and access is by invitation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service during the preview, and features may change without notice. You must be 18 or older to use the Service.
3. Your account
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Invites are personal; do not transfer or sell them.
4. Your data
You retain ownership of the data you sync to Ampla. You grant us a license to host, process, and display that data as needed to provide the Service, including making introduction paths discoverable within communities you join. You represent that you have the right to provide the data you sync.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data from the Service; (b) resell or redistribute data obtained through the Service; (c) use the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk outreach; (d) reverse engineer or interfere with the Service; (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Third-party platforms
Data you sync may originate from third-party platforms. You are responsible for your compliance with the terms of any platform whose data you choose to sync.
7. Fees
The Service is free during the preview. We may introduce paid plans; if we do, pricing and billing terms will be presented to you before you are charged. Payments are handled by a third-party processor.
8. Intellectual property
Ampla owns the Service, including its software, design, and branding. These Terms grant you no rights in the Service other than the right to use it.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the Service or its users. Sections 4 (license, as needed to wind down), 10, and 11 survive termination.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. The Service is in preview; we do not guarantee accuracy of matches, availability, or that data will be preserved.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ampla will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
